THE BLACKLIST: MUSIC FROM THE TELEVISION SERIES is the new compilation of music from the first two seasons of the international hit television series produced by Sony Pictures Television and Davis Entertainment. The top-rated drama series stars Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee James Spader as Raymond “Red” Reddington, the “Concierge of Crime,” who brokered shadowy deals for criminals around the globe but now helps an FBI task force take down a “blacklist” of politicians, mobsters, spies and international s. THE BLACKLIST also stars Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Ryan Eggold and Harry Lennix.
The album was compiled by music supervisor John Bissell and executive producer and series creator Jon Bokenkamp. It includes a collection of twelve tracks from cutting-edge artists such as Algiers, Radical Face, Timber Timbre and Hozier, as well as classics from Bobby Darin, Gordon Lightfoot and Peter Schilling, plus a slowed-down version of Dolly Parton’s classic hit “Jolene” available for the first time.
