A second hand shop with all the features of a first hand shop? That’s momox books! On momox books, we offer you the same great features you'd expect from a first-hand shop. To make your shopping experience even more comfortable, we provide various payment options. Simply select your preferred payment method in your settings. If you wish, you can change your payment method at any time.
Important Notes
When switching your payment method, please ensure you make the change before submitting your order. Once you accept the terms and conditions and your order is processed, you cannot change the payment method for that order. Additionally, please note that during promotional periods, some payment options may not be available.
Pay with credit card
PSD2 — The Directive for Credit Card Payments since 2019
The introduction of the EU Payment Services Directive PSD2 on September 14, 2019, has made online shopping with credit cards even safer.
Since then, you are required to use two-factor authentication for credit card payments, meaning you will need to authenticate with two factors. In addition to your credit card details, this authentication could be through a PIN, password, or fingerprint. This process varies from bank to bank. We recommend checking with your bank to find out which form of authentication they use. PSD2 applies to purchases of 30 Euros or more.
Before PSD2, credit card payments only required access to the card itself (by providing the card number and security code). This allowed for potential misuse of these details by unauthorised third parties.
What to do if your payment fails?
If you encounter problems paying with your credit card, please contact your bank to clarify the issue. You can always choose another payment method offered by momox books.
