City Life is a new series which aims to bring together the coolest underground labels those that are at the forefront of house music to present a collection of house ranging from loungey, sophisticated vibes to the four-to-the-floor main room smashes. City Life will feature the best from individual labels and acts that typify the sounds from the cities from which they hail . The first in the series is entitled Underground London : Disc one features Kinky Vinyl, mixed by label boss Joel Xar, with a collection of massive dancefloor tracks including two essential new tune s, as selected by e Tong: Revolution and White Horse , which is shaping up to be a huge smash. The rest of the tracklist as you can imagine is filled with gems from Mike Monday, Marhsall Jefferson, Sucker DJs and Paradise Soul. The second CD features The Rhythm Slaves and their label Soussol Records. The mix is by Kid Massive, a regular feature on both the Rhythm Slaves tracks and his own compositions on Soussol. This collection is the perfect compliment to Kinky Vinyl s. The collection is a mix of stunning deep, jazzy grooves loaded with great vocals and live instruments.
