Armageddon 2007 took place on December 16, 2007 at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh. The main event was a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship involving reigning champion Batista, Edge and The Undertaker, which Edge won by pinning Batista after a Tombstone Piledriver from The Undertaker. The main matches on the undercard were Randy Orton versus Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship, and Jeff Hardy versus Triple H. Other matches included: Jesse and Festus vs. John Morrison and The Miz, Rey Mysterio vs. Montel Vontavious Porter, Big Daddy V and Mark Henry vs. CM Punk and Kane, Shawn Michaels vs. Mr Kennedy, Finlay (w/Horswoggle) vs. The Great Khali, and Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James.
