The cultivation of an old but vigorous tradition reaches its climax every year in Stockholm on April 30th when the Stockholm Academic Male Chorus greets spring in the Skansen openair museum. On this day, like on no other occasion, the audience expects to hear these spring songs as their composers originally intended: performed by a male chorus.
