This book is a distinguishing reference material designed for New HSK Level 5 candidates and the training programs they are taking. It includes 10 sets of high-quality model tests which are carefully designed based on the New Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Syllabus Level 5 and on the study of past test papers. The amount of words above level 5 is properly controlled, and the types and difficulty of the test questions are approximately equivalent to those of the past tests. This book covers most of the vocabulary given in the Level 5 Syllabus. Each question in the book is provided with an answer and explanation. A classified table of 1,300 Level 5 words is given in the appendix, all of which are marked with pinyin and word class and provided with sound recording for learners and training classes to consult and to do various vocabulary exercises such as memorization and dictation. Compiled by frontline teachers, the book is 'beta-tested' by training classes and revised before publication to ensure a high rate of success in tutoring. The book is accompanied by a disk of MP3 recordings lasting about 6.5 hours altogether.
