Helicobacter Pylori and Gastroduodenal Pathology

Helicobacter Pylori and Gastroduodenal Pathology

0 - Default Title
Description
In the rapidly evolving field of helicobacter infection, new data on pathogenetic and pathophysiological mechanisms have appeared. At the same time, new methods that are more sensitive are being developed. The first attempts using PCR technology are highlighted in this publication. Another challenging aspect is the apparent correlation between the bacteria's presence and specific symptoms in children such as abdominal pain. The relationship of H pylori and gastric cancer is studied with histopathological data and epidemiological approaches. On the treatment side, short courses and new antibiotic combinations are investigated.
