Divorcing Jack

0 - Default Title
Description
The 1999 elections for newly independent Northern Ireland's first Prime Minister are well underway, with Michael Brinn (Robert Lindsay) the hot favourite. However, journalist Dan Starkey (David Thewlis) discovers a seedier side to Brinn's politics after meeting and spending the night with Margaret (Laura Fraser), whose father was Brinn's right-hand man. Shortly after giving Dan an audio cassette, Margaret is murdered - her dying words sounding something like 'divorce... Jack'. This all leads to Dan going on the run, with US reporter Charles Parker (Richard Gant) and strip-o-gram girl Lee (Rachel Griffiths) in tow, and the police, loyalist terrorists and the IRA in pursuit.
