Cosmic Art

0 - Default Title
Description
How can we appreciate beauty within this universe? How can we happily coexist within this universe? To address these questions, the author explores a fundamental methodology of creating an art practice in collaboration with artists/designers and scientists/engineers. This book features two of her collaborative projects: her doctoral project in Geneva through her stay at CERN, and another project in Moscow. Through the process of creating 'cosmic art' in public spaces, these projects seek to connect the dimly perceived nexus between the universe and humans. This collaboration also opens up the boundaries between art and science, particularly the mental boundaries that are unconsciously embedded in our minds. The aim is to explore the unknown of the universe through touching on the essence of the universe, in a poetic manner. Poetry is always within creation, and it provokes the imagination and wondering. This book brings a new perspective to how we perceive the universe, and how we look at the world. Using dialogue as a basic means to enhance co-generative collaboration, it seeks to unlock the human mind to enable encounters with the subtle beauty of our lives and of the universe.
