Swedish heavy metal heroes Sabaton have dominated the European heavy metal circuit for years, receiving prestigious awards including Metal Hammer's Golden Gods Award for Best Breakthrough Artist. Sabaton have played huge stadiums with bands such as Iron Maiden, as well as performing their biggest show ever at the Polish Przystanek Woodstock Festival in front of more than half a million fans. Sabaton's 2014 seventh full-length studio recording 'Heroes' was, once again, a concept record based on different historical, 20th Century wars and battles, telling fascinating stories about heroic men and women on their dangerous missions on battlefields and other belligerent locations. 'Heroes' also saw the band breach the UK Top 75 album charts while, in the live arena, the band continued to deliver attention-grabbing sets. Last year saw a riotous set on Download's second stage while last August witnessed a show-stealing performance at Bloodstock with pyro, fireworks and tank in tow. The band's concerts at Wacken 2015 and at their hometown festival in Falun were huge highlights of the 'Heroes' tour so far. Therefore the band decided to record these shows for an upcoming live package called 'Heroes On Tour' with the second Blu-ray / DVD featuring two switchable wing angles, live and studio. Bassist Pär Sundström commented: "We have always aimed to be a band people love to see live, for the simple reason we love to play live. With this release we hope to share some of that feeling with you. We recorded two shows in case one is not enough for you!"
