The study entitled Indian Financial Liberalization and its Impact on Economic Behaviour of Households in Chennai was conducted with the objectives, to identify the level of financial liberalization and its effect in India, to examine the perception level of households about financial liberalization, to assess the style of saving households after the financial liberalization, to trace the protection mechanisms imposed by the government and their awareness level among investors And To know the paradigm shift in level of household investment. The descriptive research design is adopted by the researchers in this study. The non-probabilistic convenience sampling method for the collection of sample and the exact sample size of the study is 457. The respondents are approached with the systematic self-administered interview schedule for data collection. We have used measures of central tendency and measures of dispersion, Parametric t-test, One-way analysis of variance, the chi-square test and the cluster analysis for the data analysis and further execution of the study.
