Description
A Kevin Costner double bill. 'Field of Dreams' has Costner playing a young Iowa farmer who dreams that he must turn his land into a baseball pitch and - against all advice - begins to turn his dream into reality. In doing so, he becomes reconciled with his dead father and gives a ghostly team of players another chance to play. In 'Bull Durham' Costner himself plays a baseball player, assigned to coach a hot-shot newcomer (Tim Robbins). However, the new boy's concentration is diverted by baseball groupie Susan Sarandon, who picks a lover from the team every year to train in the erotic arts. A confrontation between the two 'coaches' looms.
