Two of their most memorable recordings were set down by RCA in London in the early 1970s, both conducted by Erich Leinsdorf. From Verdi to Puccini, and an intense and searching performance of Il tabarro (Gramophone). A welcome issue of a superb work. Penguin Guide reported: Price is fully in character, Milnes sings memorably, Domingo makes a fresh-voice bargee, while Leinsdorf is at his most sympathetic. "
