Joyappa, well-known to everyone as Joy, is a coffee planter and family man from Coorg (Kodagu) inKarnataka, who valiantly tries to stay in his wife Susheela's good books. Susheela seems to have theuncanny ability to know when he is up to mischief but has a difficult time dealing with his immaturebehaviour. Although Joy works very hard to harvest his crops during the crucial period known as'The Season' and starts the season with the best of intentions, his irrational schemes, quirky friendsand unconventional methods lead to many embarrassing and comical situations.
