Une fiction ébouriffante et déjantée, récit live d'un type qui - en sautant du haut du RCA building, dictaphone accroché à son cou -, dresse en 8 secondes et quelque 100 pages le portrait saisissant d'une génération du vide et du mortel ennui, désinvolte et cynique, véritable désincarnation du « rêve américain ». On pense parfois à Céline et, surtout, à Bret Easton Ellis. Un grand livre : visuel, métaphorique, cinglant. Complètement dingue !

A work of fiction both disconcerting and unhinged, the live story of a man who, in leaping from the top of the RCA building, a dictaphone strapped to his neck, creates in eight seconds and some 100 pages the captivating portrait of an empty and fatally bored generation, cavalier and cynical, the true disembodiment of the « American dream ». One thinks sometimes of Céline and especially of Bret Easton Ellis.
A great book : visual, metaphorical and striking. Completely offbeat !
