KING OF THE JEWS
0 - Default Title
Description
A few days later, Mary anoints Jesus' feet with very costly perfume and wipes them with her hair. Judas criticises her act of love and devotion, but Jesus defends Mary, telling Judas to leave her alone.
Not long after that Jesus enters the city of Jerusalem, riding on the colt of a donkey, and the waiting crowds give Him a royal welcome. As Passover draws near, Jesus eats a special meal with His disciples. He tells them that the bread represents His body, and the cup of wine represents His blood that will be poured out for the forgiveness of sins. Then He says that He is about to be betrayed. But His disciples are greatly distressed and confused. They did not understand that God had sent His Son to die for our sins. This Bible story is fully illustrated, and much of the text comes directly from Scripture.
