In the months since the Britain’s Got Talent Final, in which he ultimately came second to Jai McDowell, Ronan has recorded his first album, Ronan Parke , produced by Stephen Lipson (Will Young, Jordin Sparks). The album includes a selection of 10 classic songs. The focus track from the album is a cover of Vanessa Carlton’s "A Thousand Miles" which Ronan reinvents as his own. The piano part in the song is played by Paul Gbegbaje the young pianist from 2011's Britain’s Got Talent. Other standout tracks on the album include an original composition by Gary Barlow, "Stronger Than I Am"; Nina Simone’s "Feeling Good", Cee Lo Green’s "Forget You"; Coldplay’s "Fix You"; Kelly Clarkson’s "Because Of You" and Eva Cassidy’s "Song Bird".
