Kana & Tomo

0 - Default Title
Description
Tomo is a raging masc lesbian and a star in the volleyball team at school. She meets Kana, an x-jenda bass player just back from London, and they hit it off right away. They attempt to set-up a club for queer kids at school with help from Mandy, their Samoan English teacher, but the idea is rebuffed by a homophobic principal. In defiance, they set-up an online group instead. It's immediately popular, until a team mate of Tomo's takes her own life. The girls blame the principal and demand answers from the school authorities. Unsatisfied, they quit in a blaze of internet indignation. Meanwhile Mandy sets in motion her plan to open a rainbow café and invites the girls to join her. But for Tomo, things worsen, when her ogre of a father announces plans to move away. She flatly refuses to go and cops a vicious beating. It's all too much-her demons, the loss of her friend, and with the prospect of losing Kana too, she escapes into the night. Will Kana, the only person who truly understands her, be able to find her?
