Sugarfoot had his own fighting idols. He highly admonished two of the best fighters of his time, Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee.He admired Mr. Ali for his motivating presence, speed, ferocious strike, and was most captivated by his character. Next, Bruce Lee, like many others, Sugarfoot studied and marveled at Mr. Lee's speed, agility, self-discipline, and his overall character and beliefs. In fact, Bruce Lee, was the sole reason for him to become a martial artist.
