Vintage 1971 Gerry Andersons UFO Paperback Book By Robert Miall - Very Good Condition. Released by Pan Books in 1971 and was the first UFO book in the series. Unidentified flying objects race through the skies like bats out of hell, blasting, killing, vanishing to an unknown world. With lunar missiles, orbiting satellites and manned supersonic warheads, Supreme Headquarters Alien Defence Organization, makes ready to seek, find and destroy the intruders. Only SHADO stands between an unsuspecting world and the terror unleashed by a dying planet. The book is in very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 54 years old. The front and back covers are nice clean and bright, but does have some minor shelf wear along the edges, and a few minor creases. The spline is also in very good condition, but also has some shelf wear along the edges. Internally the book is in very good condition, all 128 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright with no signs of any damage or markings on any page other than a few age spots inside the covers, and some slight tanning of the page edges, but otherwise very nice. A truly wonderful example of a vintage UFO paperback novel from yesteryear.
