Bill, who is in charge of a section of Level 2, the Atonement Zone (a type of Purgatory), receives word of an extremely dangerous, upcoming attack on the wonderful family he has been protecting and subtly guiding for many years. He is worried that Jim and Vickie, the two people he sent back to earth as the family pets, Stumpy and Sheba, will not be up to the task of protecting them.
