Les millésimes features a wonderful collection of traditional French-language songs that were found through extensive research digging through Québec and U.S. archives. Like great wines, these songs have aged well over the years. With innovative new arrangements, Mélisande and her partner 'Moulin' have given them new life. Life that will further push the fusion of musical genres traditional and contemporary. Mélisande [électrotrad] has been the recipient of a Canadian Folk Music Award as well as an Independent Music Award. Their touring has included shows in Canada, the U.S., Europe and Australia. With Les millésimes, the band will undoubtedly continue to make new fans around the globe and nurture the development of this new musical trend.
