Sings Bob Marley...and Friends

0 - Default Title
Description
Rita Marley, often called "The Queen Of Reggae", is one of the most popular and enduring female and reggae artists ever. As the widow of Bob Marley, as well as being a long-time member of the I-Threes, she had one of the great all-time reggae hits with "One Draw". Because of Rita Marley's intimate personal, musical and business relationship with Bob Marley, she was often present at the creation of his songs, and sometimes collaborated with him on their composition. As a result, she had access to Marley songs that were never recorded and sometimes was the first to record and interpret these Marley gems. SINGS BOB MARLEY AND FRIENDS brings together Rita Marley's versions of songs written by Bob Marley and other members of The Wailers circle. Highlights include "I Know A Place" and "Who Colt The Game", which Bob never released in his life-time, "So Much Things To Say", a moving version of Bunny Wailer's "Who Feels It, Knows It" and a contemporary version of the obscure Wailers single "Bus Dem Shut (Dem Payaka)."
