Description
Driving through the South of France, Ariane observes a hit-and-run accident. As the only witness, she feels compelled to halt her journey. During her stay, she meets the victim of the incident, the ageing artist Alain. At his invitation, she agrees to stay temporarily as a guest in his spacious Provençal house. Soon, it becomes evident that these events are not mere coincidences and hold much greater significance than just in the present. By recognising that all aspects of life are interconnected, the unusual bond between Ariane and Alain prompts a deep reflection on the meaning of life ... and death.
The author says about her book: The stimulus for this fictional novel emerged from countless real events in my own life. I took the courage to write this book from the experience that nothing happens without reason, coincidences do not exist, and almost nothing is impossible.
