-ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Richard Kuenzinger is a U.S. Navy veteran, retired air traffic controller, and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Chaplain with a heart for the hurting and a passion for the gospel. Since 2002, he has taken the message of Jesus Christ around the world, often ministering in persecuted regions and among unreached people groups. Richard is the author of Sojourner Bible Study: Preparing for the Journey of a Lifetime, Through the Eyes of a Sojourner, and A Road Less Traveled: On Becoming a Missionary. Known for his authenticity and pastoral voice, he writes to encourage believers struggling with depression, trauma, and spiritual doubt-pointing them back to the hope found in God's Word. He lives in Tennessee with his wife, Amy, and treasures time with their three children and five grandchildren.
