Maar dan krijgt zijn vrouw kanker. Stijn steunt haar zo veel mogelijk, maar soms wil hij alleen maar weg. Naar de stad, op zoek naar andere vrouwen. Kluun (1964) is schrijver en columnist. In 2001 ging zijn vrouw dood aan kanker. Ze was toen 36 jaar. Kluun bleef alleen achter met hun dochter. Hij verkocht zijn bedrijf en vertrok met zijn dochter naar Australië. Daar schreef Kluun hoe het is om je vrouw te verliezen. En zo ontstond het ontroerende boek Komt een vrouw bij de dokter.
