Trust In Leaders and IT Project Success

0 - Default Title
Description
The purpose of this quantitative correlational predictive study was to examine if, and to what extent, trust in leaders mediates the relationship between servant leadership and IT project success dimensions of project management success, perception success, and result success within technology project teams in the United States. The study was grounded in the servant leadership theory (Liden et al., 2015), the trust-in-leaders model (Podsakoff et al., 1990), and the IT project success model (Harwardt, 2018). A total of 142 IT project team members in the United States participated in the study. The research utilized validated Likert-scale instruments to assess servant leadership, trust in leaders, and IT project success dimensions. Data were analyzed using the Hayes (2018) PROCESS macro v4.3 in SPSS v29 to test mediation effects via ordinary least squares regression.
