The first part of this album offers a composition by David Chalmin titled Star-Cross'd Lovers, written with the contemporary choreographer Yaman Okur. Inspired by Romeo and Juliet, Star-Cross'd Lovers unfolds in a minimalist rock / electro style. The second part is dedicated to an instrumental version for two pianos and percussions of West Side Story, which Bernstein himself ordered his arranger especially for the Labèque sisters.
