Description
The Children of the Clockmaker continues with volume 2. The clockmaker's son, Nathaniel, had three sons by his first wife, Sarah Ann Robbins, and five children by his second wife, Mary Ann Phillips. The sons by Sarah, Wm Nathaniel, John 'Henry' and Joseph 'Joe' Osgood, were covered in volume 1. In volume 2 the sons and daughters by Mary - Charles Davis, David Jonas, Mary Elizabeth, Charlotte Esther and Nathaniel Phillips - are written about and extensive newspaper clippings and pictures are included. Charley, Dave and Nate all worked at Booth Motor. Elizabeth took care of her mother and married W.T. Shepherd. Charlotte suffered from bi-polar and the family placed her in Clarinda.
