Lenny, a curious young lobster, lives a peaceful life among the colorful tide pools and swaying kelp forests of his ocean home. Although comforted by the familiar rhythms of the sea, he yearns for something beyond-the unknown that lies past the reef's edge. The beacon that saved Lenny, once a reliable guide to countless sea travelers, has begun to flicker and fade, troubled by forces unknown. As the two unlikely companions talk, they uncover a growing mystery tied to the ocean's balance and the deeper shadows threatening it. Though small and far from home, Lenny feels called to help-to uncover what is disturbing the light and restore its steady glow. With courage sparked by friendship and a longing to protect what he loves, Lenny's journey transforms from one of survival into a quest to save the very heart of the sea.
