In the 10 years since Jane McDonald first came to public recognition,* captivating audiences with her Yorkshire charm on the BBC documentary series The Cruise *('Return To The Cruise') on BBC 2 for a week from August 8th),* she has sold hundreds of thousands of albums,* toured every inch of thecountry,* earned herself a place in the Guinness Book of Records *(for being the first artist to top the album charts without a prior release),* performed for the Queen and also scooped Yorkshire Woman of the Year.
