The adoption of advance mechanization dairy farming technology has contributed immensely to increased milk production, alleviate poverty and hunger, reduce the threat of diseases and ensure environmental sustainability in developing countries including India. Adoption of dairy technologies among small holder dairy farmers, who constitute core milk production system in India, is driven by the objective of the increased milk production for both home consumption and commercial purposes. However, farmers face constraints in nutrition, diseases control, cattle upgrading, general management and change in government policy. Constraints analysis was done using Likert scale methodology of modern dairy technologies, which included maize chopper, disc mower, drum mower, milking machine and total ration mixer machine. According to rank order and weighted mean value high initial cost was ranked first followed by, not available in local market, high maintenance cost, lack of awareness, less reliability, lack of skills, after sales services, no need and no easy availability of spare parts.
