Imar returns with their 2nd studio album ''Avalanche'' Combining a mixture of self-penned compositions and traditional tunes, the album takes Ímar's signature sound a step further, including tracks featuring string arrangements written by the highly acclaimed Scottish musician, producer and award-winning composer Donald Shaw. Imar's unmistakable synergy, however, centres on the overlapping cultural heritage between Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Man. All three places once shared the same Gaelic language, and a similar, clearly potent, kinship endures between their musical traditions.
