There are several larger Trekking maps of the Everest area. And they are beautiful. This smaller pocket map has the main advantage that it is easy to unfold during the trek, especially when it is windy. The result is a smaller size of the proper paper map of 75 x48 cm So it may make a lot of sense to have one of the bigger maps to look at in the lodges and additional the pocket map for using in day time on the trail. The map covers the trails starting in Lukhla and reaches Chukung / Island peak, EBC and Gokyo. If you plan to do the three passes trek, I suggest to have the additionally larger NE517 with you.
