Kicking off in 1973 and throughout the rest of the 1970's, the southern English duo of Ian Anderson & Maggie Holland - under the daft name of Hot Vultures - were one of the hardest working outfits on the UK and European folk circuits. For their three albums (one of which even achieved American release, fairly unusual for UK folk names in that era) and whenever possible live, they also recruited many other excellent musicians of the day. Vulturama! Is an absolutely typical cross-section of what they did, their best 74 minutes ever! Guest appearances from Martin Simpson, Dave Peabody, Simon Mayor, Hilary James, Mike Cooper, Chris Coe, Pete Coe, Al Jones and more.
