« I have been an admirer of Josef's work for the past 10 years. It is always a surprise and a delight to see where his travels have taken him. The peripatetic photographer who brings back startling images from exotic places is nothing new, but Josef does it so well and his prints never disappoint. Like the great 19th century photographers, he takes images to stimulate the desire to follow in his footsteps. Josef gives us another reason to travel and also to open our eyes to the beauty of the world. He makes it look easy - but we know it is not. »
