Dialogism as an Aspect of Language

Dialogism as an Aspect of Language

- Default Title
Description
Discourse is defined as a sequence of sentences and this sequence has a dialogical feature. there is a dialogue between sentences and a dialogue between words. Bakhtin (1986) argues that every text is dialogical, in the sense that it gains its meaning in relation to other texts. the sequence of sentences satisfies a number of properties that reflect the dialogism aspect and at the same time help produce new texts.
