This bachelor thesis deals with the added value of wine and tourism for the South-West Styria tourist region and illustrates this using the example of the South Styrian Wine Route. Furthermore, it highlights megatrends in tourism and their adaptation by the Austrian Tourism Association, Österreich Werbung. Finally, the implementation and further implementation possibilities with regard to these trends are analysed and discussed. This thesis is mainly based on desk research with various practice-oriented data and elements.
