Henry Hey is an extremely gifted young pianist who is rapidly establishing himself as one of jazz music's most versatile and accomplished performers. His busy schedule includes making a guest appearance on the latest Jeff "Tain" Watts recording ('Bar Talk' - Columbia), touring with Bill Bruford as a member of his US Earthworks band and acting as Rod Stewart's musical director/pianist. As a jazz pianist he is already considered one of the most creative of the new generation of keyboard players that can play brilliantly - wherever the music takes them. Whether it is funky, straight-ahead, ballads or the blues, Henry swings with the best of them. This new trio album also features two other outstanding talents of the new scene - bassist John Hebert and drummer Jochen Rueckert.
