Description
Invisible Struggle is a book co-written by Hannah Lindfield in the two years before she died aged 24. Hannah Lindfield was a remarkable young lady born with craniosynostosis (a condition that fused the plates in her skull), as a result, as she grew, Hannah had to cope with numerous health issues including limited hearing and vision, partial paralysis and a life of constant pain and hardship. Despite all of this, and having spent many months during her short life at Great Ormond Street Hospital undergoing many surgical procedures, she lived life to the full. During her short but fulfilled life Hannah was on course to swim for GB at the Paralympics, attended university whereby she studied fine art, wrote poetry and produced many fine paintings and sculptures. The book was written to support other young people with craniosynostosis.
