Integrated use of chemical fertilizers with suitable organic manures and biofertilizers can pave the way for better production and productivity of rose by facilitating efficient nutrient use efficiency as rose is a nutritive exhaustive crop and require constant apart with balanced nutrient supply for longer durations being perennial in nature. The information on integrated use of organic manures, chemical fertilizers and biofertilizers is lacking in floricultural crops in general and in rose particular.Besides this improvement of vase life of a cut flower is a pre requisite for better returns and the better holding solution need to be explored which can enhances the quality of a flower after it is detached from the parent plant.
