AbstractThis thesis is an attempt to fathom the phenomenon of the saying ¿the interpersonal chemistry is good¿ in the context of the supervision process. The author`s target was to depict clearly how ¿the interpersonal chemistry¿ is perceived as well as to explain it in a distinct way. Qualitative research method was chosen as research design. At random ten expert`s questionings were carried out face-to-face by means of guide-interviews. As a result there was a great variety of statements and naming concerning the question which the experts consider the most important determinants of ¿the interpersonal chemistry¿. However, a uniform tenor could not be found. On the contrary a basic attitude has emerged which is conductive for the building of a relationship between a supervisor and his client. Thereby the experts mentioned attention, appreciation, an unconditional acceptance, congruence and empathy most frequently.
