Adjustment of the lower ankle joint

0 - Default Title
Description
The aim of this interventional clinical study without a control group (Röhrig et al., 2009, pp. 262-268) is to find out how a new, self-developed chiropractic technique affects pain-free weight-bearing duration, range of motion (ROM) in the lower ankle joint (subtalar joint), balance control (single-leg stance) and the patients' perception of pain. The test subjects showed significant improvement in the movements of the lower ankle joint in the direction of adduction (inversion) and abduction (eversion) on the affected side. A significant reduction in pain was also identified during continuous loading on the affected side. With regard to balance control, a clearly measurable improvement was only identified on the right side.
