Emergence of the Georgian ecclesiastical writings is related to the early epoch of spreading of Christianity. Therefore, canonic that was typical for the Christian Church of certain specific period should be taken into account during the research. Such Canonic had been also considered in hagiographical works. As it is known, the hagiographical works had always been created for reading in the churches. Praising of a saint, martyr used to conduct for strengthening belief of believers. At first, Christianity was a persecuted religion with small number of believers. Authors of hagiographic works aimed at strengthening their belief. Due to this, the main character of the hagiographical work was to be an ideal person for the rest of the Christians.
