It is also interesting to note the connection made by the author between the pan-Africanist changes underway in the Sahel and the fate of Lumumba's Congo, the trigger country in Frantz Fanon's Africa, as the natural epicentre of African leadership. A forward-looking analyst, the author argues that the emergence of a free, independent and sovereign Africa is imminent and irreversible, and recommends destroying the Congo of the Westerners and moving towards the Fourth Republic.
