Andorf suffers from terrible nightmares long after Serin's death. His friends and his kids advise him to leave her behind and move on. Years later, his son, Sarak, constructs a teleportal device for transporting people between armada starships. Though time-slippage flaws are resolved in later teleportal revisions, the Goshi ponders about reintroducing the flaw in order to send him into the past to prevent his beloved's death. If only he could convince a doubtful son and adamant daughters.
