Description
The action takes place between the 15th and 19th centuries on the American continent. There is also an expansion pack produced by American Conquest, called American Conquest: Fight Back and a gold edition, which has the original and the expansion pack together. The last installable in the series is American Conquest: Divided Nation. All three titles are available together as American Conquest's Basic Gameplay Mechanics and Economic Factors are shared with GSC's previous game Cossacks: European Wars and its add-ons. As in Cossacks, American Conquest allows construction. While the difference between playing for European factions and Native American Indians are discernible in terms of military strategy, the basic features are the same. The usual chain of activities involves building houses for your peasants and storing resources such as wood, food and gold, stones, coal and iron from the mines that the player will have to build in designated areas.
