It's a snowy Friday night; the drug deal had gone wrong and Mika has got himself into trouble with local dealer, Lars. Trying to save him from a certain beating, Elka is taking him with another friend to her little house in the mountains to get the cash he needs to pay off the dealer. On the way there, high in the mountains, the car crashes in a ravine. Only Elka gets out of the wreckage, but she is left lying in the snow, unconscious and close to death. So begins her journey into the world of the gods, and a little fair-haired girl, after being rescued by Halldor, a strange servant. A fantasy fiction with a Nordic flavour, Elka and Marit is a lively and engaging tale of Norse gods intertwined with the present day.
