Heiko Fischer (guitar), Christoph Spangenberg (piano), Daniel Stritzke (bass) and Konrad Ullrich (drums) met at the College of Music in Hamburg. They have continually toured including a stand out gigs at Jazz Baltica in 2008, the Hamburg Jazzopen 2007 or the Jazzahead in Bremen. On this album the musical pieces always remain in focus, so solo parts never become an end in themselves. The musical themes consist of consciously arranged and sophisticated forms, taking their root in modern jazz as well as rock and pop music. Every meter is part of the piece and every piece is part of the band sound.
