The growing popularity of Celtic music in the 1970's was due in large part to events such as the Irish Folk Festival. Great bands were able to showcase their talents to large crowds who responded enthusiastically and became fans for life. This historic CD captures two fo Ireland's top groups in their early years, live! Clannad and de Danann brought their talents to the 1976 IFF tour. Individually they perform tremendous sets and then join together for the grand finale, "An Irish Folk Session".
